What a week! Hot dog!

Oh, man I am so happy I have today off. It has been a hectic but good week. Last weekend I worked at the pub both nights and then Monday started my week of babysitting...and it surprisingly went really well! I've been petrified of babysitting since my first babysitting experience when I was like 12-years-old and the baby just kept crying...so I kept crying. Since then, I've been all about the pet sitting and pretty anti-children. But anyway, the kids were really good and we did lots of fun stuff like bake cookies, color, draw, watch TV, dance, read, and play "football" (soccer for you Americans). Dononvan was able to drive me most days but if not, I took the bus and it worked out fine. Since the little girl spoke German I learned lots of German words which I will share with you:

1. Ca Ca = poopy
2. Feder = feather
3. Hound = dog
4. Auto = car

Yep...that's about it. Other than that I would just say "yeaaaa" or "wowwww" in response to anything she said, unless of course it involved pointing to her butt...

So Friday night I took the bus home so I could tidy up a bit before Martha and Graham arrived. Donovan was due home around 6:30pm but got stuck in HORRIBLE traffic. In England, when there's an accident they close down the entire road/motorway, so he sat in one spot for 6 hours and got home at 1am!!! Terrible! Martha and Graham arrived by taxi around 9pm and we just chilled out. The next morning we drove them to the airport and said goodbye! (*tear*)

Later that day one of Donovan's best friends, Chris, took a ride from London to come visit us. He is the first of Donovan's BEST friends that I have met and I really liked him! We had a "brai" (who's been reading? remember? a south african bbq! yea good job!). After the brai, I had work at the pub but it ended up being at Longburrow Hall instead (a hall you can rent out in the field like 1 min from the pub) and it was Salsa Night! So yes, I bartended at a Nepalese Salsa charity event...and it was great. I got home after midnight last night and was wiped out! So, again, so thankful for today off! Monday is a public holiday here but I am working at the pub again. Then Tuesday I am babysitting again.

Alas, my blog entry this week has no pictures but has hopefully left you with a wonderful picture in your head. If not, you shall watch this video and live the torment that I am now living everyday when I can't get "hot dog hot dog hot diggity dog" out of my head. Warning: your brain may melt...but your dance moves will prosper and thrive.
